A symbol of strength and support.

#34 & 35 There is a lady at my job who is so many of the things that I simply am not. She is soft-spoken and graceful, always put together and steady.  She is loved by everyone and often encourages me.  Her adult daughter is struggling and we mamas hurt when our babies hurt.  She shared a bit of the details and I promised to pray for her daughter and I wanted to find her a clover. The note to my friend went something like this:  The Lord led me to pray with you instead of for you.  I prayed for your daughter and want to protect your heart as you mourn for her heartbreak and  beg for healing in the Lord's time.  He's got her.  He sees her.  He loves her. I stood in my sister's yard and knew just where to look but....that section was in the sun... it was a hot day... I was barefoot....the grass was prickly ... so I hunted on the other side.  The picture in my head of her clover was tattered - a good metaph...
