Windfall and Lucky 7
October 2018 As October settled in, I spent as much time outside as possible. I knew the harsh weather was on its way and my clover days would be on hold until next season. We were at 71 clovers found and the weather was turning fast. I feared this was coming to an end. My boys and I met my in-laws at Honey Hill a beautiful local farm to pick out pumpkins and enjoy the day. The lot for parking was full of clovers - overgrown, matted down clovers. After a few glances we found a couple. These few were the largest I had ever seen and I knew they would press beautifully. First, was for Penny and her brave battle with cancer. Our sons are special to each other and I am grateful for her friendship. My heart breaks watching her hurting but, man, is she strong!
