"Micha needs a miracle."

"Nicole - I need you to find some more clovers and pray for my sister-in-law who has three little kids and was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She started chemo Monday. It's hard to believe that this is even happening because besides a little pain, she is fine. I'd love for you to find her a couple.  I'd really appreciate it!!"

So sorry to hear this! The snow will make it difficult but I will do my best. I would love to pray for her. What is her name? I have many tucked into my Bible over the years so even if I can't find one I will get you some.

My son was helping me decorate for an event at work and we went early in the morning to get started.  There had been lasting snow for several days and the only green to be seen on campus was tucked under the evergreens.  As we parked, I knew we had to take a look. This may have been our only chance to find one before spring!  We walked over and I whispered, "Micha needs a miracle." Just then I spotted her clover.  I took only a few seconds; what a blessing.  I text my friend with the news. It was so tiny which makes it even more incredible to find this late in the year.

"OMG!! It is a miracle! That is amazing."

 I guess we weren't done after all.

August 11, 2018  In celebration of my 40th birthday I asked each of my three boys to help me chose adventures that we could go on together and my gift would be time spent with them doing something we both love.   My oldest is a baseball player. Double Up

Nothing published since September?  Can you tell that is when I started a big, new job?  I hope to publish the three stories I have drafted so I can finally wrap up this project. I don't think anyone has been waiting for them but I set a goal and I plan to see it through. It has been wonderful to relive some of the miraculous moments from my journey.  If you have read my words or received a clover, I hope you felt smudged with the love of God.  These clovers are my Holy Spirit sprinkle and as long as I find them (or they find me) I will use them to encourage others. It was raining hard. A moment in this kind of rain drenches you to the bone and you feel sticky all day.  Usually I would love to slow down and soak it up but I was working. A four-leaf clover...in January...in the Midwest!

January 7, 2019 The end of November rolled by and the holiday season set in.  I wrote many, many letters to accompany all of my prayerful finds.  January crept in and I received a request.  A dear friend who is part of our family has been living with aggressive brain tumors.  He has chosen not to chance surgery and keep the steady road of life-altering treatment.  He requested a clover. Now,  I don't know if you have ever experienced a Midwest winter but they can be harsh. Long. Cruel even.  We both knew I would keep praying but a finding a clover was going to have to wait.  I was eager for spring knowing that the first one I found would be for him.
